If your hair strands hook in the end . what does that mean?
Probably that you have wavy hair.
I agree with this, when my hair was short it seemed to be straight other than little curves/hooks at the ends in some spots, once it started to get longer it got pretty curly, now its just wavy.
yay thanks yeah my hair is wavy
Fish hooks in the hair are when the ends of the hair buckle over to create what looks like a hook.
In perming if it is done incorrectly you get them, which have to be cut out.
I've seen people who have never gotten a perm in their life with those hooks. One being my stepdad.
Lol, I got those when I burnt my hair ends. I kinda liked them, but I've seen people have them naturally so don't worry about it. If they're dry or damaged that's another thing.
I have the hooks too. On my back hair and on sides, I don't like it much. When my hair gets longer, I'm gonna cut the ends off. I have been told here, that they will curl again, but I'm not so sure of it when my front hair are still straight on the ends. I just have to make sure the back hair will be long eough to lie on my back and not get curled on shoulders.
