Since about 2/3 months of growing my hair, i wanted to have a hairband for my hair, but it was never long enough. Now with a bit of gel it works and i think it looks cool, even though people must think i'm gay or something haha. (i dont really care)
I had to go to a girls accessories shop called claires accessories to get the hair band, because everywhere else i look there is literally NONE! Same with stud earrings. In the mens shops they have about two choices, both of which are horrible and overpriced.
So yeah, just wanted to tell you about it, because i skipped last months update. Next update will be on the 22nd of this month and it has grown alot :)
DaPs.
I've tried those headbands sometimes but i never ever use those in public, or even at home, hehe: lol, but if you like them that's what matters, they seem kinda practical though.
It's soo much easier for girls to handle the awkward stage with all the female accesories they sell in the stores, i think they should start making more of that stuff for guys as well.
But anyway, lookin forward to your update, i also make my next on the 22:)

I will do an update with my hair normal then with the headband :P
I'm not sure how much longer i want to grow it now that i can do this!
I think another 3 months then i want to trim the back so it is neat and keep the other bits the same length.
From there i can then grow it out even longer if i like :)
I'm a fan of headbands. I have a dark navy blue cloth covered one, a black cloth covered one, and a black leather covered one. My hair is dark brown and therefore the look is subtle. I say go for it.
That's great -- I wish more men would wear headbands. I wear one almost every day -- either the U-shaped girls headband, or a rolled bandana, or one of those new headbands made of silky scarf-like material with elastic at the back. It's a very styled look, somewhat feminine but not too, and it looks great after my wife has done my hair in rollers.
