Hello people, I've not posted for ages. It's a constant battle for me to get my hair looking ok because of frizz. I like it when it's like this, but unfortunately it doesn't always work! Today I used John Freeda frizz ease after not washing with shampoo for nearly a week.
Hi Kye,
Thanks for posting an update picture.
They hair looks amazing and it's lovely to see such natural curls and it the John Freeda product has certainly worked wonders. I'm sure you are very please with the result. Keep it growing and always a pleasure to see naturally curly hair. My sister has curly hair and she always insists in using that product as well.
Do you have any length goals. Do keep in touch with is and a wonderful inspiration.
Cheers,
John.B
Hi john,
Thanks for post, yes I think products are definately the way forwards for me. I'm not really sure about the target length, I think I'll just keep it growing until I decide I'd like it a bit shorter (in the unlikely event). I suppose mid-back might be good for me.
Cheers, K
Dude ...
Whatever you did in the picture is fine. Your hair rocks!

That's some great hair you've got there, infinite respect for you...
Wow, that is incredible hair you have! Terrific color and lots of curls, this was definitely a good hair day, congratulations
Nice curls! The last picture I saw of you showed much shorter hair if I recall correctly. Then again, I don't come on this forum on a regular basis either, so it's hard to remember things. When did you start growing your hair, and roughly how long was it?
Hi there,
I've lost track of how long i've been growing it, must between 2 and 3 years. My last post was last september, I think the picture was the one above. think it was just approaching shoulders then.
regards
kye, Simply gorgeous hair. Great color and curls!
peace, jonalbear
Hi Kye,
Your hair looks AWESOME, and is a true testimony of how great long, curly hair can look. You are blessed with thick, healthy, shiny curls with the most wonderful colour, I can only imagine how your hair will look with more months, and hopefully years of growing. Keep up the GREAT growth!
All the best,
David
WOW!! your hair looks great! Nothing much more to say then that! I take it oyu were happy with the Freeda Frizz Ease? And for the week did oyu just get your hair wet or use something other then shampoo? Anyway looks great! Take care!
Thanks! Yes I think the frizz ease works well some of the time, but it's never gauranteed. Sometimes it looks greasy, I just need to get the quantity just right I guess, along with not having too much product build up from previously.
Regards
You have absolutely gorgeous curls. Apparently washing with shampoo less frequently makes your hair look better. A few guys here with curly hair use no shampoo at all but water only. I use water only on my very curly beard. No soap of any kind on my beard works very well for me. Water only may be worth looking into for controlling frizz. Best wishes.

Hey man,
What great hair you have! It looks very healthy, thick, and the curls simply are awesome. I like the colour, too! Some darker and lighter parts so your hair doesn't look boring. Really awesome! Thanks for posting!
Oooo, those curls and highlights look absolutely awesome!

Wow! You have some very healthy looking curls there, Kye. How long have you been growing your hair?
To be honest I'm not exactly sure! it must be at least 25 months or
so, maybe closer to 3 years. I'll have to try and pin point a date and work it out before my next post.
Regards
DEAR GOD!!! You have the most gorgeous curls! I totlly love curls like those especially ina guy! I know curls are dificult to handle but to look like your its worthit! keep up the growing.
take care
Whoa, dude! That's incredible! Wow. You seriously have some of the healthiest-looking curls I've ever seen. The color shifts are great; they give you an island/surfer look.
Might the frizziness be because you were shampooing your hair too often in the past? Or combing it too hard? Remember, curly hair is very delicate, and it's most manageable when wet. When it's dry, it'll become very frizzy very quickly if you try to comb it or mess around with it too much. Gels, oils, or leave-ins can do a miraculous job of reducing frizz.
Keep it growing, dude! Job well done so far.
Peace
Dude, the hair looks great!
Shawn
You won the battle the day this photo was taken. Great hair, great curls! The color is fantastic too with the variations within.
Nice golden curls!:D
