Dear members of MLHH,
Thank you very much for showing such great appreciation to what I've posted both here and on YouTube. It indeed served as a wonderful motivation for me to continue my hair growth. For the past few months, I've been lurking around here, doing with only sporadic updates. Part of the reason was the impending thesis submission deadline and the other part was the hacking of my hair by that hairdresser. I felt I've disappointed all of you (myself included) and would be doing a great disservice if I posted my hacked off hair-length here.
I decided to give myself and my hair time to "recover" before doing any active posting. As always, this board has shown me immense support and I must say it is through this board, that I've kept my hair growing even under occasional adverse situations, and keeping it in good condition. Thank you very much my dear brethren and I promise to keep up with my updates :).
Keep growing guys (and gals, which are fast growing in numbers).
Yours,
Jin
Thankyou Jin for posting and sharing images of your amazing mane. You are an inspirtation right through the spectrum from folks growing out, to folks that have long hair and can just marvel at what you have acheived.
All the best Dave
Growing (or cutting) your hair is a very personal thing; you sohouldn't feel like you've disappointed ANYONE because of what a careless hairdresser did. Even with the cut, your hair is still longer than 99% of us, and you continue to be an inspiration.
Keep your head up!
Hi Jin
I want to extend my gratitude to you for sharing of yourself with us. You have also motivated many on the board who are growing their hair as well as admired by many with long manes. Your unpleasant encounter with the evil hairdresser from hell is unfortunate but I'm confident you'll persevere and please feel free to continue to post updates on your recovering your length. I among many would look forward to those posts.
Thanks
Kevin
Hey bro. It's nothing you can't get over/fixed in time. And you shouldent feel bad. Doing things we regret or getting hosed by another person unfoutunetly is a big part of life. Don't let it take your joy away.
Peace and Flowers

You have gorgeous raven hair. If anything, your sharing of your encounter with the scissors happy hairdresser serves as a subtle reminder to others to beware anyone with a pair of shears in their hands, and your hair in their sight. It's unfortunate that you had such a negative experience with a scissors weilding hairdresser, but I'm sure you will be much more cautious in the future. On the bright side, you are not going to need to see a hairdresser for a very, very long time.
