new thread
Yesterday (at least in Eastern Time) was my 3 month mark (last cut on April 10, 2007). I'm definitely noticing the difference now. I can look to the side and see hair and when I try to get rid of a "loose" hair in my face, it's still attached! So far it's been just like the last time I grew it out, except I'm not cutting the bangs when my mom suggests it.
I've been really busy lately and didn't reply to anything since my original post a while ago. Hopefully, i'll be less busy now and more social.

Thanks. And yes, I'm new to posting on the MLHH. I've been lurking for about a year, until I posted about my new hair journey 3 months ago. I've seen several people on here with hair that is even more curly than mine so I'm sure there are several experts on that subject. This is a great site and I'm glad I came across it.

Progress looks good and as it's very curly it will seem to grow slow. It looks wild I like it.

Thanks. Yeah it definitely does grow slower since it's curly. It's straight a couple minutes after I get out of the shower and than, PUFF, it curls and fluffs outward, but I was expecting that, so no big surprise. It is a lot wilder right when i get out of bed, or on a very windy day.

Looks great, even at this early stage, as its so curly it may take more time and patience but it will be worth it.
Thanks. It will definitely take patience to deal with the frizziness of the awkward stage, especially when dealing with school when it starts in august, but this message board always cheers me up and reminds me of why I'm growing it.

aaaahhh!!! yet another guy with awesome curls! why must you guys break my spirit with jealousy? :) your hair is going to look so incredible when it hits shoulder length, because it's already looking fantastic. congrats!

You have great progress for only 3 months! The curls look good as well. I remember your first post. You posted right after you cut it all off right?
