Hi all! *waves*
I'm posting my concerns about my bangs. They are up to my nose right now and I cant do anything except push them to the sides, and even then I repeat the process 30 times in less than 5 mins!
I don't want to slick back my hair or anything, I just want to know when I can expect to be able to push them behind my ears or something.
Like I said, it's up to my nose and it's been 7 1/2 months of growing from short hair. Not buzzcut just PLAIN SHORT or whatever you want to call it.
I'd say 2 months seeing as it's at your nose already.
I would give in a full year from a buzzcut. It didn't look right on me so I've been sticking to the shaggy look. I don't mind the fringe, it looks and feels cool, but doesn't work for everyone.
What's the problem whit slicking the bangs back, i often do it and it's practical, at least until the hair is long enough to tie back.
And as DaPs said, it probably wouldn't take you more than 2 months to push them beind your ears seeing as they're already at your nose.

Just wait until they are down in your mouth too. :) What I do is use a little bit of glue/spray to hold them up, seems to work fine.
Hi TheExistential,
I'm waving back at you, even as I type this!
Well, it is true that once your bangs get long enough to hook behind your ears, that it tends to help make the infamous, "awkward stages" more endurable... BUT, don't expect the bangs-in-the-face thing to literally "end" at that point... Just take a look at my 3rd close-up pic in the thread I started above, and you'll see exactly what I mean (lol)!!

Look at mine(posted above)too!

Just embrace your Bangs, live with them. I did and now they don't bother me. You should embrace them while you can, most hair begins to part shortly after going beyond the Nose, so while you wills still have "bangs" they wont be in the traditional form, coming straight down your face. Rather they will begin to lie more and more to the side, until someday...
Same problem here, but on top of hair falling in front of my face, I have a mandatory side part which makes it harder to brush back. What I've been doing is grinning and bearing it (Duh!), wearing a ball cap when I'm out in the wind and I slick it for formal things and church, but then again, that's probably essentially what you're doing. Oh well, use it if you can (shrugs).
Waiting for past-ear length,

Heh, TY for your help.
I'm looking forward to the next 2 months. =P
