What a fantastic story! And it shows a longhair in a very positive light. That man has been through a lot, death of his spouse, hospice care of his mother, caring for a disabled child; it's amazing he kept his head together through all that. That child is lucky to have such a devoted dad too. Too many kids like him are just warehoused somewhere and forgotten by their families. Kudos to that dad!
