Hello Everybody
Here's the remaining pics of manes to admire and inspire from my trip to the Faire.
(For those who have been away) Last weekend I attended the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin and took numerous pics of longhair among other things. I thought I would share some with the community for those who may enjoy them and or find inspiration from them.
If your curious to see the first post I believe it's about halfway to two thirds the way down.
As always comments and question welcome

He was very keen to have his pic taken, I only wish I shot a little video of his dancing it was quite good
Always nice to have willing subjects in front of the camera
At the end of the Day they close the Faire with a drum jam which my mate takes part in. This is what they are dancing too. I think next time I'll take some video and put it on YouTube for our viewing pleasure.
Coming soon pics from Wacken 2007
What's Wacken?

Thanks for the pics :)
Btw, the guy on the left in the second picture has "Fire and rescue" written on his t-shirt in Russian :P
I noticed his shirt but wasn't sure what it said. Thanks
Hi Kevin,
Another great set of pictures there and you have a great skill in taking pictures. Like I said before I hope to check out of those festivals at some point.
I hope you have great time that metal festival.
Cheers,
John.
Thanks John
i'm looking forward to Wacken this year I'm sure I'll have a blast.
Kevin
Hi Kevin, thanks for sharing those great mane pics. Further inspiration is always welcome. Many thanks and great work!
cheers,
Max
Thank you Max,
I don't have too many opportunities throughout the year to take pics of people like at these Faires so when I do I go all out.
Kevin
Wow. If that isn't enough inspiration for guys seeing how our hair is suppose to be and how well it looks long,I don't know what is. Mother Nature is far from stupid, and if she wanted men to have short hair, thus would have been the case. Other than looking well, it must be there for a purpose............most likely to help to assure survival meaning to not lose precious body heat from our heads.
Thanks for sharing these photos. It was most kind of you to do so.
I agree Mother Nature knows her craft when it comes to making hair grow long.
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
What a delight it is, to see so many inspirational heads of hair in one setting, these Faires are the BEST for seeing long hair at its finest! Hopefully, I will be fortuante enough to encounter at least one of these Faires on my trip in 2009, I will have to plan my route accordingly. Hopefully, I will be fortuante enough to meet you as well.
Take care,
David
Hi David
Well at the very least on your way to the west coast you have to go around the great lakes so I'm sure a meet up wont be hard. Unless of course you go to the deep south first that would be the long way around but worth while as there are cool people down there also.
Kevin
Ahhhh... more longhairs from the Ren Faire. Love the dancer in the flowing white poet shirt. Caught a couple of kilt wearers there too. Now, THAT'S a great combo, men with flowing long hair wearing kilts! :-D
Carol
Keeping that in mind Carol I'll see if I can snap more kilt pics for you. LOL
Kevin
i attend comic conventions now and again and i really enjoy them ive always wanted to attend a Renaissance Faire they look like lods of fun nice pictures :{ ]
take care
They are a lot of fun more so cause everybody lets their hair down (no pun intended) that is there are so many free spirits everybody go crazy and have fun but without consuming mass quantities of alcohol.
Kevin
Again you've taken some great and inspiring pics Kevin!
Also, what kind of camera are you using? As i noticed it takes real sharp photos. I like photography as well but i only have my Sony Ericsson K750 cellphone and it features a 2 Megapixels camera, but considering it's a cellie it takes great pics, especially in the daylight:)
Simon
your pics are great. ren faire rocks. I've heard about Bristol out here in Cali. I'd go, but it's a long drive... !

Yeah just a bit of a haul. Well Bristol has been around for 30 years so I'm sure it will be around many more. Someday you may find yourself in the Chicago area and who knows.
