So it happened. Someone mistook me for a girl.
I was in the grocery store, checking out. The woman ahead of me was buying a bunch of stuff including a bunch of flowers. There was about a foot between her last item (the flowers) and the little bar thing to separate my items from her items. When the conveyor took her items up to the cashier, the flowers did not move with the conveyor and thus ended up with my items. I kept on trying to keep the items separate. When the woman asked where her flowers ended up, the cashier realized what was going on and said something along the lines of "I thought they were hers" talking about me. Nothing ever came from it--I did not correct, she did not correct. No problem.
But, I guess that is a milestone...
A milestone indeed! Congrats! I've had that happen a couple of time lately also. Usually occurs when the person has me in their "field of vision" or periphery, but aren't looking directly at me. Ciao - Bruce'ster
I always find these things to be hilarious. Though maybe it´s not that fun to be on the recieving end. :)
Anyways, it´s indeed a milestone. Keep it growing!
Funny this never happened to me, maybe my hair wasn't really long enough or they just didn't think out loudly of me being a girl, hehe:D
lucky you!
i wish more people would mistake me for a girl...the only person who mistook me for a girl was some really old lady whos vision was REALLY bad
I'm surprised no one has mistaken me for a girl yet. I'm not that tall, and my hair is long enough for me to be ( I think). Its especially surprising when I wear rather girly outfits such as girl shirts and fishnets =)
