I wanna grow my hair just down to cover my face but am not sure how long it will take....... I argue whether i should cut it or not.... But then the hairstyle im plannin to grow is something iv'e wanted my entire life n will be wantin...

If you really want to grow your hair to "cover your face" do it. The secret is quite simple! AVOID SCISSORS!!!!!!! I don't think it'll take too long. You can probably achieve this "hairstyle" in 10-12 months(Judging from your photo).

Just one tip of advice. Never cut it nor trim it, stay away from the scissors as posted below.
I'd say a year to get that lenght.

well im not exactly sure what your going for are you talking literally covering your face? like forehead to chin "cousin it" style or that new trendy (///_-) people are doing cause that wouldn't take long at all

Saying it is actually very easy but actually sticking to the task of doing it is another matter as you are probably growing your hair long for the very first time you may or may not like the end result but im not trying to put you of but you will have to avoid the barbers also the dreaded Scissors & Clippers !
1/ You want to grow your long ...Go for it start by going for your first hurdle by growing your hair over your ears & growing it to your tie shirt collar personally I think you would look great with long hair.
2/ You have wanted to do it all your life ... That day has come then should take to grow over ears about 2 to 3 months with NO Trims.
See how you get on with achieving your first goal.
