I came into work this morning and suddenly without any real planning... I walked next door and bought some hair ties and try out my first pony tail. I really dont like it right now, and didn't show it to many people, but I can't wait till xmas!!!
Any comments welcome! This board has kept the scissors away from me!!
Congrats on the milestone! The hair looks much better long than it was short. And don't worry about the tail, when your hair is longer it will look much better. Keep growing!

Hey man - Looking good and congrats on your 1st. year! I'm 2 weeks shy of my 2nd. and believe me...time flies. Your hair is looking great. And as for former dignitaries...my students tell me I look like Ben Franlin when it's pulled back. Go Figure!

The awkward stages are pretty much over... I had plenty of days where I was just pissed at my hair, but I never really actually thought seriously about cutting it off.... to much time wasted!
The curls just keep chasing themselves! Most of the length actually about 6-7 inches. I can pull my front most bangs past my lower lip now :)

It all looks great, Lance, and the ponytail is nice. As more and more hair fits into it you'll find it easier to wear around. Your curls are amazing and thick too.

Does the weight of your hair from being that long take the curls away from the top? or is that just how you have it styled?
Thanks! I am not sure dude. My hair is always straight at the top and curly towards the bottom. I never really knew my hair was curly. I always thought it was wavy till I let it grow. I suppose the weight has straightened it out a bit at the top. Well, Take care bud. Keep them curls growing because they sure do look awesome bro.
I was the same way... I had to no clue about the curls till it started growing out.......

Heh, I actually like the ponytail. But you're right - it'll look better with more length. By this time next year, it should be much closer to being a "full" tail.
