Thought you fellow long-hairs may find this pic amusing. This was taken about 6 months ago, so the hair isn't that long. Just thought it looked funny. I'll try and do another in about 6 months which should look better.
Thank you all for your positive comments- Chris G, Max L, Axel, Del, Chris H, Simpa, Kevin, Lurk Ness Monster, Justin, James, Mouse, Tristan, Arnocello, Jules and Bragi.
Peace.
Troy
Dude... again... long hair looks great on you!!! Anxious to see more pics as you grow your mane...I think mid back length would be ideal for you!
Jules
That's cool! It looks like you're doing some kind of martial arts stuff:D
Simon
Great mid-air action shot, Troy! Ya remind me of my likewise mesomorph guitarzan bud, Dank, whose webpage (w/ free downloadable tunes, too!) I've attached to this below for your delectation. Enjoy!
Jus' keep it growin' and flowin' and goin', Troy, and ya oughta be able to be eligible for being cast in an historic re-enactment pic from some country's mythology before ya know it! I'm serious!
Yours in longhaired camaraderie,
Quenyan (+:-)}
That is a great pic Troy, awesome moves and no special effects :)
Of course now we will expect ever more elaborate updates from you :)
Thanks for the pic lol
Sweet! Do you do martial arts? I've done tae kwon do and a mixed style, and my latest endeavor (for the past year) is kung fu.
Mouse (the vicious rodent) :-)
That's really cool Mouse! I bet a few will try to mess with you then, lol:D
I've also thought about trying out some kind of martial arts, like Aikido or something, as i've always been fascinated by that kind of stuff;)
It's a lot of fun, especially with the right instructor. I did a bit of Aikido in the mixed style, and it's definitely a cool art.
If you get serious about starting, look at all the schools in your area and figure out what it is you want to accomplish. At least in the U.S., some schools are really into tournaments and others aren't. Some schools emphasize practical self-defense above all else, others are more artistic. Most will use a ranking system, but some skip the belt/sashes altogether. As long as the instructor is competent and the environment safe there's really no "wrong" school.
This time around I was interested in a style focused more on circular, artistic movements than absolute self-defense (though my school has that in it of course), and I didn't want to bother with tournaments. I also wanted a structured rank system to work through since I'd spent so much time in first-degree black belt limbo. I shopped around and chose accordingly, though my selection was strongly influenced by that instinctive "just feels right" sense I got when talking to my current instructor.

Hi Troy. Great picture. It looks like you include flexability training with your weight training. So many guys who work out never stretch. Besides working with weights, I do yoga and am also a dance teacher so I feel flexability is important. Are you into yoga, dance or karate? The picture is awesome and you flying hair looks great.
Del
I am not going to ask how you do that, as few males can do a split. Yikes!
Carol
Hi Carol. At the gym, the guys call me a posable action figure because of all the crazy stretches I do. All I can say, is that with all the dance and yoga I do, splits don't seem so difficult. There are some really crazy yoga poses that do challenge me, but I figure if I pratice them enough, hopefully they will also become easy.
Del
Hi
Del
How long you been a dance teacher for and is it a professional of yours or do you teacher it for fun like a hobby !
Axel
Hi Axel. I've been teaching dance for about 17 years. I teach ballroom, latin, swing, jazz, tap and ballet. I've been dancing since I was a child and after I graduated from college, I performed in National Tours of "A Chorus Line" and "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." I currently own my own dance studio in New Jersey.

I must be invisible, or you were having a hard time remembering who posted comments to your pics. :-( Boo hoo! Oh well, I shouldn't feel TOO bad, you forgot DavidN too! :-P (sticking sarcastic tongue out at you).
Anywho... this pic is way cool.
Carol
PS No hard feelings. :-)
Thank you again for yr positive comments.
Troy.
No problem. Like I said, I figured it was an oversight. But I'm glad to know you read/saw my comments to your pics. And I am sure that David doesn't feel slighted in the least. You got a lot of positive feedback from a number of individuals, and all well-deserved for your hair and toned body. I was just ribing you, I have a twisted sense of humor, and a sarcastic wit, which y'all here will eventually figure out (Though I think Quenyan has already). :-D (SMILE)
Carol
Hi Troy,
Don't even give it a second thought, and NO apology is needed at all! You had already thanked me personally in your post further down the board, and in addition, I really appreciate your kind words that you said to me in your original reply, I cannot thank you enough!
Take care,
David

Troy:
Superb photo!!! Wow.
Cheers,
Max
Cool Pic,
Just curious, do you have any advice for how to get more built, I've noticde you've been a popular person with regards to that topic...I'd like to get in better shape, but no matter how much I work out, I never really get much bigger or more defined....always been pretty slim. Any advice or secrets?
Tommy,
We haven't seen a pic of your great hair in awhile (or perhaps I missed it!?)
How about an updated pic?
I'll try to get one soon!
LoL! Very awesome picture man.I wonder How many times it took to achieve that shot
Hi again, Troy,
What a genuinely cool picture, and a great way to show how much you are enjoying your developing mane! There is just something about showing hair in motion, whether it is from the wind, or through the way you have shown it here, that shows that having long hair is so much fun.
Also, I would like to thank you again for your very kind words that you wrote in reply to my earlier post, they are sincerely appreciated!
Take care,
David
Hi Troy thats a really cool way to display your hair being airborn like that.I'd love to see how you pulled off that pic as someone had to have been quick with the camera. Also I didn't get a chance to comment on your previous pics but your hair looks fantastic so far.I hope you plan to grow it much longer!Mark
Who cares if yur hair is short, if you can fly?
Hey Troy ...
You rock dude! Keep up all the hard work you're doing. Hair growth and body development.. great combo!
Be Blessed..
Tristan
Hey Troy, that is a totally cool photo. You are sure limber too.
Absalom
Those kinds of shots aren't easy to do unless using continuous shooting either that or you do hundreds of those splits. You have to take hundreds of pics to get one or two good ones.
Cool pic though I like it.
Kevin
Great picture! Ace hair. Cheers Dave
how long have you been working out?
Been working out about 5 years. I was REALLY skinny when I started, but never gave up. Plus I do it 4 a living now!
Take care.
Troy
Hey man, if I tried that pose I'd probably break a couple of bones. It looks cool, and when your hair is longer post more "hair in motion pictures"! It would definately look cool ^^
this pic is awesome! i love it when you guys post fun stuff like this!
i didn't post on your earlier pics becsuse i didn't have a lot of time, but those look great, also! i like the shirt with the blue flowers on it - it suits you well.
peace,
nic
Awesome photo! Mind if I ask you for a few off-topic tips Troy? I read in your other post when you started working out you were very skinny, I have this same problem. I'm 18, 120 lbs and 5'6 tall. I work out at least 4 times a week and I have had a personal trainer that taught me proper technique, but I never seem to gain any muscle mass. I have tried to eat a lot more to gain some weight but my metabolism is so fast I burn it all off when I run (track for school). Any tips for a scrawny guy trying to buff up a bit? or a routine which worked for you? Thanks.
I haven't been that flexible since in utero - and that includes my yoga days!
Also, your arms are only slightly bigger than mine are...my LEGS that is.
(And your hair is coming in nicely...amazing how much hair comes in just 6 months, eh?)
Nice pic.
Shawn (Mr.Crow)
