Came across this pic from about 2 years ago when my hair was long. I am aiming to re-obtain this length at least but probably longer. Looking back now I can't believe I cut it all off from this! Utter madness. Never mind, I am now older and wiser.
Still think the half-tail was one of my favorite styles. I always wanted to look a bit like Legolas from L.O.T.R. minus the blonde hair and with slightly bigger arms. LOL
Troy.
Man, that look suits you perfectly! Stay away from scissors! ;)

It's funny I always get told I look like Legolas and I don't even do the half tail, not sure if I really like the "compliment" since I don't like LOTR. I probably should try the braid sometime to see what it looks like for kicks though.
Also cool pic.
shame on you for cutting all that off!! ::slaps back of your hand:: don't ever do it again or you'll be grounded, mister!
you should definitely do your hair in the legolas braids sometime. you have the face for it. they would look great!
peace,
nic
It'll be back to its former glory before you know it. Has anyone ever told you how much you look like John Cena?
Also, going OT, what sort of workout regime do you have? Do you do anything besides weight training?
Matt
John Cena! God I hope not. For a start he sports a crew/buzz cut and I'm pretty sure my jaw isn't quite that square (I know that photo makes me look pretty angular).
As for the training, yes I do more besides weights, including kick-boxing, yoga, squash, running. All sorts really. Not a fan of one particular system of training.
I've had a few enquiries regarding training tips for people looking to put on muscle. The best advice I can give is to find a system that works for you. Some people respond well in an 8-12 rep range, others much lower (like me) about 4-6. It does really depend on your existing frame-work. Natural ectomorphs (skinny guys who can't gain any weight) will be advised to limit activities that expend too much energy e.g. running and other sports, if your aim is just to put on muscle. Concentrate on heavy weights and build strength with big free-weight movements- deadlift, squat, bench press, curl etc. Keep calories HIGH! the bigger framed guys who struggle to lose weight should look for a routine that emphasises the speed and rate of a workout, to maximise fat loss. Keep reps higher 8-15, with short rest periods (30 secs-1 min), like a circuit. still concentate on the basics but go for the sweat rather than pure strength. This is because usually these guys can put on muscle almost as easily as they put on fat. Calories should be controlled and addtional sporting activities encouraged to burn more calories. Phew! Think that covered it.
Sorry if that was off-topic, just thought it might answer some questions. And finally stay off steroids. They will accelerate MPB.
Take care
Troy.
That was a great length actually, although i'm certain it should probably look even better longer:)

Hey Troy! Man I have to say all the pics you posted over the last few days are quite impressive. You obviously got the attention of many here with the cool longhair making a comeback as well as your athletic body. The "Hair In Motion" pic has got to be a classic!Well its good that you decided that short hair is not for you as it would look outstanding with mid back length at a minimum.Anyway my personal welcome to the board and certainly I'll look forward to your future updates.Mark
Please don't cut it again. That length suits you well, you'll be back before you know it. And you pull of the hal-tail really well.
Carol
Troy..
Have no fear ... your hair will regain that length soon enough. It suits you well..
Your workout advice is well stated below.
For anyone interested www.bodybuilding.com has alot of information that may be of some service.
Anyway ... as always.. keep up the good work..
Tristan
Hi Troy,
Your hair was aweseome here, and rest assured, that before you know it, you will be at this length again. Hepefully, you will grow it a LOT longer this time, as you have the perfect type of hair for that.
Keep it growing,
David
Hi Troy,
I didn't get to comment on your "Hair in Motion" pic or your "Half-tail" pic from a few days ago, because both had travelled waaaaaaay down the page by the time I saw them; but, in any case, your pics (ALL of them) are hands-down AWESOME, --- both in how excellent your hair looks, and how totally HU-U-U-U-UGE your arms are.... OMG, my legs aren't even that big around (and Im a life-long Swing dancer, --- and Swing dancers are known for their strong legs!!!)!!!!
Anyway... "my compliments to the chef!", --- and keep up the good work (both in the hair dept., and in the amazing physique)!!

Well, I have bigger arms (and legs too), but it's much more than muscle in them...

Hey Troy your hair looks great in that photo. Long hair and a muscular body go very well together. Take a good look at Arnold Schwarteznegger as Conan the Barbarian. His hair looked fantastic.
