  Girlfriend (ex-now) says cut the hair or she is gone.
  It's taken six years to grow, and I've known her for
  a year and a half. My hair is longer than hers, and this
  is the problem. Will post a pic, but I'm new here. HELP!!!

      Your encounter is similar to mine. If a girl values skin-deep beauty more than she values you, then no matter what, she'll only be temporary. You're smart enough to value your own hair (which is permanent) than to cut it off for her :)

    if you've only known her a year and a half then she knew you as a longhair and now likely considers you some sort of 'project' that she must 'change'. don't walk away- run... as fast as you can. there are enough problems in relationships without someone deciding they want to 'rearrange' you as they might their livingroom furniture.

    Take my advice and leave her and don't look back!
    I went out with a similar woman and they are evil. Dump her and find someone with class. First it is your hair, then your car, clothes, job etc.

    I went out with a similar woman and they are evil. Dump her and find someone with class. First it is your hair, then your car, clothes, job etc.

    Your girlfriend is crazy. Short haired men are ugly :)
    She probably is more concerned about money.. since discrimination still exists in employment but that's not one of the main important things in life... :)

    I think she has a serious problem; i wish my guy had long hair! Keep your long hair and get rid of her. You'll find someone out there like me who can appreciate your long locks.
