Only 2 1/2 months in, so i have nothing to worry about, but, i had it cut the same length all over, so theoretically, shouldnt it still be the same length everywhere
My ears are already half covered by hair, yet my fringe barely comes down at all, my back is slightly behind the hair over my ears in length.
Is it supposed to grow like that?
that's pretty normal. or so says my hairdresser. i'll get my hair cut to all one length, and when i go back a year later for a trim, the hair on the right side of my head will be nearly an inch longer than that on the left. wierd, but natural.
peace,
nic
I've been letting my beard grow just over two months now; I try not to watch it's progress too much, but it does get the once over for work.
My photo is an older one, but I like it because it's a style I had for several years, quite alot of fun to chop about. Now I've let it grow longer and the beard seemed the natural progression.
Anyway, the other day I was surprised to find several hairs that've sprouted far quicker than the others: already well past the inch mark. One of them is white, so it was easy to notice!
Naturally there have been different waves of growth (even now fresh strands starting to emerge) but in the pattern of things these longer strands seem to serve a purpose: the hair is getting to a length where it starts to form twistes, and these longer strands are the guide.
I have also returned to the habit of kelp tablets, which supposedly stimulates hair growth, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I'm guessing that's probably because hair will fall out and new shorter hairs regrow in the same place.
And if you get split ends, that can also make the hair appear shorter than what it actually is.
I'm 18 months in and getting ready for a trim; my hair differs in length by just over an inch in the same spot. It happens.
And all hair grows slower when you are watching it!
