Well here it is, 21 months and 10 inches growth! I don't see much difference in the pictures from last month or even 2 months ago but I do feel the difference. I can't explain it but it could be that I'm reaching a new comfort zone.
This place has been a source of inspiration and support that I didn't have in the first go around and I probably would not have cut it short 7 years ago if I had known there were such a place. Thank you all!
I thought I would take this opportunity to announce that I have created a links page that you can get to by clicking on my avatar. Thank you Oren! From that page you can go to pictures and other things. I'll be changing it sporadically as time permits.

Looking good Bruce; and I also feel more than see the differences at this point in time. I can't explain it either, but there definitely is a different feel as we progress. And it feels good!

Looks great, tailed or hanging loose. The milestones are important to measure, even if they are small ones. "Tiny strokes, felled great oaks." When you reach terminal length, all of the progress on the way will add up.

Thanks Carol, its' funny what constitutes a milestone, hair caught in your mouth when eating pizza, haveing to ull your hair out from under your tee-shirt and haveing to be carefull when rolling up the car windows!

Hi Bruce,
Your hair looks great these days, and is cetainly noticeably longer with every update, I think it grows VERY fast, and appears to be in great condition. I am sure it is far longer than the 10 inches you mention here. I have been growing for over 39 months and my hair seems only an inch or two longer than yours (my longest measured hairs are just over 18 inches, that is why I am sure yours is more than 10 inches). I hope you keep growing it, the longer, the better. I was wondering if your wife is finally coming around, and accepting your long hair the way it is, I hope so, that will make the journey doubly rewarding

Thank you David, maybe my hair is a bit longer than I measured, but I still think you've got me beat hands down! My wife has long ago accepted the fact that I want to grow my hair long. There is of course a difference between acceptance and support of my decision. She no longer points out that, in her opinion I would look younger with short hair, but I know she still desires it. To my surprise, she occasionally gives me hair tips!
Visit my vacation link once in a while as I have been rearranging to make it a little easier to view. And yes I will be adding description to the pictures when I get through the summer crunch.

Thanks Ken, lately not only does my hair feel good, I have to feel it by holding some of it in my hand. I just have to be careful that I wasn't changing the oil in the mower or something!

Hey Scoop'ster: Looking VERY good there my man. Don't remember if you started from "scratch" or not but that's a LOT of length for less than 2 years. Glad you're feeling comfortable with it these days. I agree, this group sure gives me the support I need to go out and face the world, most of which are short hairs. Thanks Nic, Thats' the word I was looking for earlier. She's accepting the long hair but still doesn't approve of it. She not too secretly wishes for the short hair husband she married, but realises that that her long haired husband is here to stay!

Yes, I agree that we have similar hair types and your will look fantastic in 13 months! Here is a picture of my youth to show you the similarities.
