Howdy all, here's my July progress, 29th of July Aussie time. Dial up people please forgive the large amount of linked images.
My normal length, looking straight ahead. The natural waves make it appear shorter than it is, when wet it goes to between shoulder blades.
Halftail.
Here's a couple of length "cheats", head tilted right back.

I can't wait till spring so I can do some outdoor pics.
Take care all,

Matt, you have one gorgeous mane. It just gets better with every update. Absolutely outstanding.
Spring is not too far away for you. That should be about September 21st or 22nd. I am guessing that the climate is similar to San Francisco with lots of rain in winter.
Anyway keep growing that mane.

You have gorgeous hair! Keep it growing and it will keep looking lovely!
You may already know this, but here's a thought. When your hair hits about 4 or 5 inches longer in length (past your shoulder blades) consider asking a good hair dresser for long-layers. I suppose I mean a hair dresser who cuts other peoples' very long hair.
LONG-layers should help show off your attractive waves, without making your hair look fluffy, or silly.
If you happen to live in Boston, I can introduce you to exactly the hair dresser to do this type of cut.
In the meantime: your hair looks terrific!!!

Thanks for the compliment,
Wouldn't long layers involve making some layers short, to help "thin" out the hair? I normally wear a ponytail and I think if I had layers a lot of the hair would simply not be held in place. I have considered getting a blunt cut at some point, to make it all onr length (see Jasons pics).
Thanks!
Actually it has rained a lot this winter, after several years of drought..
I have no intention of cutting it this time!!
Matt.
Absolutely Fantastic as well as Killer great long hair!
Truly photos of total inspiration if there ever were.
(The colour by the way is gorgeous.)
Thanks so much for sharing your update with all of us.
Best of luck with continued superb long hair growth.
Thanks Justin,
You mentioned the colour, not sure if you meant it was coloured or were just commenting on the natural colour, but a point of note is that a lot of people ask if I colour my hair, it is natural but I can see why people sometimes ask. The first growth is usually quite dark, almost brown then as it gets longer it starts to get lighter, especially from the neck/back of head area. Also it changes coulour depending on the lighting too, as can be seen by the difference in the photos in front of the door where it looks quite dark, but in the lounge photos it has several shades of blond!
Nope. Was commenting on the great natural colour that you have. It never even occured to me that it had been coloured.
Hi Matt,
I "cheat" all the time, too (lol)!!
Cheating or not, though... your mane lookes hands-down AWESOME!!!!

Hi Matt love the update pics!Your hair is so long right now and looks to be in excellent condition.I don't think I'd change a thing other than to just let it growwwwwwwwwwww!:)))) Yes and spring time is a great time of year to be outdoors to show off what you've been working on all winter!LOL.Mark
you have some fabulous wavy hair, Matt. It looks very healthy.
Matt, the halftail awesome and the color is out of this world! I'm glad you posted some pictures with different lighting because it really brings out the red in your mane. You have thick, beautiful hair worthy of enjoyment.

You have multi-tonal hair. Mine is like that, the strands are various colors, so the hair looks different under various light conditions. In very bright light, I look like golden blonde, with obvious strawberry blonde highlights. In subdue lighting, my hair is almost a caramel color. It's nice having those natural highlights like you have, I enhance mine by using s chemical highlighter. :-) Beautiful hair with nice soft curls on the ends, definitely a keeper. You're blessed.

Excellent update Matt, your hair hair is looking wonderful! Plenty of shine and great body. Keep growing for sure.

Okay, now when did you get all this incredibly brilliant hair? To me, your hair was just under your shoulders not too long ago...but, of course, that could've been a while ago. Whatever the case, I envy your length, thickness, and shine - everything, really. You've simply done a superb job with your hair. The half-tail style really accentuates how brilliant your waves look.
Keep it growing! I wonder where it'll be next update, lol....
Peace
