Hello guys!
I want to ask for being removed from the directory of users, as I am leaving the forums I use.
I've known great people over the past years and I learnt so much. Thank you so much for everything.
The problem is serious, so I really have to leave. Please remove me.
I'm keeping this place in my heart. I'm also gonna make my best to keep my hair and grow it longer.

I am stunned here, all I can say is that I hope the problem can be alleviated by leaving these forums as you are doing. I hope that you are still healthy and still able to go forward with you schooling and nothing in the truly life changing variety is occurring. Unfortunately hearing something like this leads me to all sorts of horrible possibilities in my imagination, i can only hope the reality is less grave.
Joao I am terribly sad to see you go, you have always been a key member here and you will be remembered fondly by everyone here. I can only hope that (again) whatever circumstances led to this are not so devestating that all hope from hearing from again you is truly gone forever.

Everything that Chris just said is exactly how I feel as well... I am so SO sad to hear you feel you must go...
We all have personal challenges in life, and we all have the right to keep our problems quiet (especially not revealing everything over the internet). But, if you are leaving because of any harrassment or other negative treatment from another user here, then the Moderation Crew does need to at least know that, --- if it's happening to one user here, then chances are it's also happening to other guys here as well.
My best to you, Joao (and I apologize for not knowing how to put the ~ above your name, --- it's just a lack of knowlege about how to do this on my computer; not a lack of knowledge or lack of interest to spell it correctly)! And please, if you ever change your mind about this, and want to come back to post again, I hope you don't hesitate one ounce, --- you'll be welcomed back, BIG-time!!!

João,I'm saddened to see you go. When I first found this board it was your enthusiasm that was contagious and it inspired me to regrow my long hair. I spent more than an hour trying to figure out how to put that ~ over the "a". Well, it just ain't happening and at this point, NO, I don't want to know how as I am old and set in my ways. Anyway, I really enjoyed the posts of you and your little sister, therefore, this all comes as a great surprise to me, as I thought you were in this for the long haul.
I have had to make some quick getaways in my life too, but there was usually guns, whisky and wild women involved. I do hope you will reconsider. What ever you are going through may not be as bad as you think and you might just get some good support here.

I don't believe this...I never would have expected to hear this from you - in fact, I thought it was someone impersonating you at first - but if it's a real problem, and I'll definitely give you the benefit of the doubt, I wish you the very best in solving it. You've always been a source of inspiration to me and to nearly everyone on this board, both hair-wise and personality-wise. Your joy has always been infectious. Like it or not, you've left a deep impression on this community, and even if you're removed from the directory, you'll remain here for a long time, my friend.

Wow, I'm shocked! You will never be forgotten. Even though I wasn't herelong, I did enjoy reading your posts and knew enough about your wonderful uplifting spirit that I could've spotted it as a fraud a mile away! You will be in my thoughts and my prayers and I sincerely hope this problem solves itself. Even though you are leaving, I believe I can speak for most (if not all) when I say that if this is something you need to do, you should do it. Also, I personally can take some consolation from the fact that you're continuing to let the hair flow!
