I am feeling worried about posting these, yes, I did have a trim a week or two ago, I've been too scared to say anything, so I am plucking up currage to post this. I do kinda regret the trim too, but nothing I can do now. it looks better when styled differently, but I'm trying different shit out.
here it was last week styled differently.
I'm so sorry.... and NO MORE FUCKING TRIMS. my hair is even enough as it is now. I'm just letting it grow, quote me on it.
Again, I apologise..

You absolutely have nothing to apologise for Chris! I've also had a few trims since i started growing it out again, although now i'll not gonna touch those freakin scissors for quite some time:D
Anyway, your hair looks great now as it is, that black really suits you, it looks as if it would've been your natural color.
I'm heading into my 5th month now in August, but i guess your hair is slighthly longer than mine.
Simon
Thanks for the cool words. Do you have MSN?

Hey, no worry about getting trims, though it was my mortal enemy last time i tried to grow my hair out..
I was only 11, but i decided to elt my hair grow, yet i still blindly went to get my hair trimmed every month, and then wondered why it hardly grew...A lot wiser now...
You don't really need to appologize. After all, it is your hair. Do whatever the heck you want to. But yeah, if you want to gain length, then the trims are going to have to go. But it looks good as of right now. Just hold off on the trims for 2 years or so, and you'll be set. Hope you make it through the ackward stage all right, though. That's the worst. But after those painful few months, then it should get a heck of alot better. Just hang in there, and you'll have long hair before you know it. ;)
Chris, You keep making the same mistakes over and over. Don't get me wrong, I am not preaching or criticizing you in any way. First, You swore you would never dye it again but you went ahead and dyed it once again. Now, You trimmed it again. The only way you will ever gain noticeable length is by leaving it alone! Stay away from the damn scissors man. Take it easy and good luck.
I agree, and have already said no more trims. The trim I did last year was at a later stage, and was way more dramatic, and my hair turned out ok, I was a fool for cutting it all off. That's not gonna happen this time.

I really hope you stay away from the scissors, Chris. You've got some great hair man. It would look awesome long. Just avoid trims for a really long time and you'll be on your way. I am really looking forward to seeing your hair long. Good luck and stay as far away as you can from the scissors
One last mistake I thought I'd mention (don't worry, it's easy to fix with a few asterixes ar rewording) is the borderline bad language of the post. I understand your displeasure, and you haven't been bad before but maybe the next post could be slightly cleaner. Hmmm? It'll even be easier 'cause you'll have some length back! Just a suggestion, I'm not preaching either.
Keep the posts coming,
-Christian Epp
Hi there Chris PheoniX! You have the potential to be an outstanding longhair as you have great quality hair. But you MUST NOT be getting trims this soon as it is not necessary.Just let it grow and do the best you can dealing with the awkward part of growing out.Give it time and you'll be impressed by the results.Mark
Looking great man. Trims are not always bad, but they do hinder length. Also, we must also be aware that anyone can read this forum, so please watch the language. It does not offend me, but it may offend others.
Looking great!
peace

No need to apologize for the trims; it's your hair.
An apology for the language would be more appropriate.

Hey Chris..
The hair is looking great.. The trims make the hair nice and even. (unlike mine)... that should help you in the long run..
Keep it growin..
Tristan
Sorry you had to learn the hard way as scores of guys have in the past that have posted to this board that all have fallen for the same trap of "I want to keep everything even."
First of all, this is really an impossible task when it comes down to the nitty gritty of it all as old and new hairs are in constant exchanges of falling out or beginning new growth. So nothing can make it really "even." I know however what you were thinking and it WILL work but there is a BIG trade-off.........that being arriving as a longhair in many many years instead of two.
All is really just so easy. Simply let your hair grow non-stop for a couple of years and it suddenly looks as if it has evened itself out which it does appear to have done.........and all is just automatic and looks the best of all.
Good luck to you this time around.
Best to try and "even things out" when your hair is long.......but beware. Guys have fallen for this one as well and are left with hacked-up hair like you wouldn't believe! Split ends targeted and removed and a mere "dusting" trim would be the best route to take far down the road.
I'm sorry for the language, I should have thought before typing it. I hope I didn't offend anyone.
Thanks for understanding too. :D.

No apology needed, its' your hair. It doesn't look that bad and will grow out... now put the scissors where they belong, in deep storage!!!
