Guys and Gals,
My hair is longer now, 8 months growth. The thing is that I don't feel comfortable when my hair is wet. I mean, I wash it, I apply gently pressure with my fist (on the tail) to remove the excess of water, then I towel dry patting the towel, but it remains pretty wet and heavy. Questions now,
1. Is there a method to remove the excess of water and let it air dry without damaging too much?. (I won't use hair dryers or rub fiercely the towel against it).
2. Is pressing the tail bad?.
Note: I finger comb, apply some gentle leave in conditioner and when its dry I might use a comb to help me make a ponytail
Thanks in advance.

I think you might want to read Justin's thread below. His drying method seems to be highly effective and harmless to the hair. http://www.mlhh.org/messages/194417.html
Perhaps scroll down to yesterday as I posted (with photos) how I have my hair dry in an hour.............and it is at waist length.
