okay, so it's only 3 months, and as far as i can tell, i have a very slow growth rate, but progress is progress and it sure beats the awful buzz cut i got....
If you gained about 1-1/2 inches in 3 months, that's an average rate of hair growth. How short was the buzz cut?

Which, I believe, leaves you with 1/4 inch of hair. It looks to me as though your hair is growing at an average rate ('bout 1/2 inch a month, or so).
That's the right attitude Beanz! Try not to think about the hair too much and it seems to grow faster :) Meanwhile you can hang out here. Keep on growing!

From this pic, I think long hair will suit you very well. I don't know; it just seems like it would go well with your face. And, as you're a kid, you have the added benefit of getting hair down to your shoulders faster, as you're likely a bit shorter than most of us here.
Keep it growing, and you're right - it beats the buzzcut by far.

Yes, i probably am shorter (unless theres anybody who's 5'5 out there, which there may well be), though lately it's not a suprise if i grow an inch in one month and nothing the next.....
I think your growth rate is fine. It wasn't until 6 months when I was asked "What the hell was I doing?! When are you getting a haircut" So hang in there and you'll know you're on the way to longhair when people start harassing you.

Actually, as ninety percent of the males at my school all have a skinhead like every week, just having hair gets you mugged in the corriddors
The growth looks normal, just stay away from scissors, dye or gel. Before you know it, it will be awesome.
