The weather was delightful, my golfing buddies had TWO chocolate cakes as well as beer for me, after the game, and they even started a special thread for me over on the Long Hair Community as well, with lots and lots of my fellow LHC members sending their wonderful greetings to me. It simply cannot get any better than today.

Yes, it does seem a bit strange, doesn't it! But I was already drinking the beer in the clubhouse when they came in with the birthday cakes, so of course it was time to cut them into pieces and share them around with the members and staff. Even though the remaing beer DID taste a bit weird after eating the cake, it still was fine for me!

I didn't get a hole in one, I am afraid, but the two birthday cakes and the beer my golfing buddies gave me were pretty awesome, and really made my day today. And the fact that the sun shone all day certainly helped as well.

As for my hair, I definitely plan to keep growing it, hopefully, I can gain a few more inches by next August, when I will be retiring from my job. I have no idea as to my eventual terminal length but I think it is still slowly growing.

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who stopped in to wish me a happy birthday yesterday, and a special thank you to Validus for starting this thread. I was genuinely flattered to think that someone would have started a special thread just for me, on my birthday.
I had the most wonderful day, and it was concluded by a fantastic feed of clams and chips at a local restaurant, compliments of my brother. This picture was taken by my brother, just before I dived in to eat them, of course the beer made everything taste that much better!
