I used to have long, lusterous hair and felt like the most confident guy in the room wherever I went. Then my boyfriend Bruce convinced me to shave my head....and I did it. Now I barely leave the house and am prone to fits of uncontrollable crying. It's embarassing. Does anyone know of a great mens' wig maker in the NY tri-state area?
A wig just ain't the same. Sorry, I can't help you in that department. Grow it back and rethink your relationship with the BF. Obviously your hair became an important part of you, and the BF needs to understand that you feel robbed of a very part of yourself. It will take time, but you will get back the long, lusterous locks you once had.

I just bought a $350 wig and wore it for one week at work and then got a State job where hair was a non-issue. If interested let me know...Texasgeodude@yahoo.com
I love the myth of Samson. In all honesty, though, I don't think the big guy would appreciate his name being invoked for the sake of snivelling. Sure, his superhuman strength was linked to the length of his hair. Sure, when he lost his locks, he was weak as a kitten. Adding insult to injury (or, in his case, injury to insult), his eyes were gouged out, for good measure. Did he sit around crying about it? No. What good would that have done? Did he go out and get a wig? No. Why on earth would he want to wear somebody else's hair? It would have meant nothing. He waited for it to grow back, like all of us who want to have long hair must wait.
