That's so silly. If you want it to look nice just use some leave in conditioner. When you shampoo you strip your hair of any lubricant and that is where the conditioner comes in. If I never did that, I would be tearing my hair after washing it because it's not lubricated.
The only way to get head lice is to be near a person with lice ,or in a place infested by them.
