In light of Erik's "Horrible dream" post below (which I can completely understand and sympathize with), I thought it might be worth mentioning "good" longhair dreams. For myself, a short-haired man just beginning to regrow the long hair I once had, these often begin with my having short hair. Over the course of the dream, my hair grows longer at an impossible rate, often reaching to near shoulder-length within what seems like a single day. Other commonalities, from dream to dream, include the act of brushing my hair, as well as looking at it in a mirror and just feeling happy about the fact that it's getting long again. For some reason, I never seem to dream about it actually being at my goal length (mid-shoulder blades), but just about being happy that I'm "on my way" back to long hair. When I wake up from these dreams, I feel reminded that I am meant to have long hair, and more determined to keep it growing.
Once i dreamed that when i lean forward my hair touch the floor...
i was so happy, but i woke up :(
