Today is my 4 month mark for my hair journey. It also marks a mile stone, this is where I differ from the last time I grew it out. Last time, I had my mom cut the bangs because they were getting in my eyes. Well, I'm not making the same mistake this time. Now for some pics:
This site has been so helpful in helping me restart my hair growing journey.
Thanks, and Happy growing,
Mathew
Looks great, Mathew. Your hair seems very thick and curly. Hair like yours looks awesome once long. It might be tough to grow it really long because of the curliness and thickness but I guarantee that you will be pleased with the end results. Hang in there and avoid the scissors at all costs. See you around.
Thanks. I will definitely avoid the scissors.
Happy growing,
Mathew
AWESOME CURLS,,,,, YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR..keep us posted.
Paul
Thanks for the comments. My hair definitely has a mind of it's own. It just loves to curl like that without my help, which is fine with me.
Happy growing,
Mathew
Hi there!!
GOD!!! You have such GORGEOUS curls!!! Dear God take good care of those beautiful curls because not all the curly haired person have the luck to have such perfect shaped curls!! your hair looks great keep it growing!!
Thanks. It's nice to know that their are people out there (mainly on this website) who think it looks nice. My entire family is against the decision, and most of my friends (except one) are neutral or against it.
Happy growing,
Mathew
Hey Matt, looks great so far. Since you have hair that takes extra time and patience to grow, good luck and keep at it. It will look all the better the longer it gets. And great idea to let it all grow out without trimming back the bangs. Where's the accomplishment of growing out if you miss the fun of the awkward phase? :)
Thanks. Based on last time, I definitely do not want to cut the bangs. Besides, it will be fun sometimes having the hair in my eyes. The awkward stage is definitely a wild adventure.
Happy growing,
Mathew
