Hello, everyone,
It's been a few weeks since I'm had the chance to post or respond. I've been in rehearsals for the performances at Wolf Trap and unfortunately the extended-stay apartment I have here is experiencing internet access problems. There is a Panera Bread nearby, however, and I can check email daily there. I also take a quick scan of the MLHH to keep up with everyone and get a dose of inspiration. The heat and humidity of the Potomac Basin combined with finally hitting what I guess is my awkward stage had me re-thinking the long hair journey.
But, I'm finding lots of inspiration locally, especially outside the beltway! In the shops at Tyson's Corner I see quite a bit of long hair on the weekends. And, of course, the inspiration here at MLHH has kept me going. Being at the mercy of a restaurant's wi-fi, I've not had time to respond individually, but I've enjoyed the updates from James Raymond, Angel, Crimson_Ace, Kal El, Christian, and Erik Anders' NEW GUITAR!
Keep up the great work everyone. After the Wolf Trap performances, I'm off to Montreal from here. I'm hopeful that the climate in Quebec in September will be more conducive to overcoming my 10-month awkward stage!
Isn't Washington humidity fun? =D
Good to see you're still around, Stan. Hope you're enjoying your time on the road, especially being able to spend time in our nation's capital. Such a beautiful city! =) Take care and post some pics when you can.

Hi, James,
Yes, D.C. is a beautiful city. I've worked at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts several times in the past but this is my first show at Wolf Trap. I'm enjoying it very much. I'll try to post some photos soon. Thanks for the encouragement.
Hi Stan,
I wanted to wish you all the best in your travels, it is great that you are coming to my home country of Canada. Quebec is not TOO far from Nova Scotia. It is great that we on the hyperboard can be a source of inspiration to you, and we are definitely looking forward to your future updates in your journey to long hair!
Keep it growing,
David
David,
Thanks for the encouragement. Canada is great. I had a contract in Vancouver B.C. last April but I haven't worked in Montreal since 1999. I'm really looking forward to returning.
Hi Stan, 10 months, in the middle of the awkward stage and hanging in there. Congratulations!
Bruce
Bruce,
Thanks for the encouragement!
I wonder what kind of performance this is? A couple of us are local to the DC area, so maybe we could meet up? When do you leave for Canada?
