That looks just so fantastic! You have just shown everybody how unique and fantastic (as well as great looking) the the Awkward Stage can look in this update because you just let your hair grow natural and let it do its own thing along the way. The heck with gels, tidy up trims, hair sprays or whatever. (I did the same and loved every minute of it.) So many cool looks along the way and alot of fun. None of this worry about what others might think and spending hours trying to tame it. What you have just shown might just give some of the other guys here growing out their hair a different opinion of trying to look so proper as they grow out their hair and proove once and for all a "fun" part of the Awkward Stage. Of course, everyone has to get from point A to point B in growing out their hair long. Might as well make it a fun experience and enjoy it.

Impressive, Dave! Maybe it's just me, but it seems you had a bit of a growth spurt over the past couple months? Of course, with it being summertime, that wouldn't be too surprising. Either way, the hair is looking great! =)

I am going to grow it 'til bottom of rib cage, that would be good. Although belt length would be great I cycle a lot (like at least evry other day) and it would be unpractical I think.

Dude, you have one of the uniquest manes I've ever seen. It's like it still retains a shaggy look even though it's below your shoulders, which makes it stand out from everybody else's hair. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But I think it's a really cool look. Goes great with the guitar, too.
