Today I was at my gym, and they had ESPN's rerun of "Monday Night Football" on the TVs - KC Chiefs vs. the Miami Dolphins. I was surprised to see a number of players had long hair clearly sticking out of their helmets - which was a surprise since I figured the guys would have uniformly short hair. So I checked online rosters, and sure enough the guys are all pretty individual in their style. Some had ear rings, and a few had pretty long hair. The Miami Dolphins Samson Satele 64 had hair most of the way down his back on the field - didn't think that would be allowed. The Miami Dolphins website said it was last cut 5 years ago. I'm not a football fan, and I've stereotyped the players - probably unfairly and inaccurately.
Way cool. No doubt about it!
Hey bro: The player that comes to mind is Troy Polamalu of the Steelers. I saw him interviewed and remember he quit cutting his hair when he was at USC. He's been a pro 5 years now. This may be the same Troy that Tristan was thinking of but I couldn't get that link to work. Bruce'ster
