I've been growing my hair (without any trimming, cuts, etc.) for about a year up to a year and a half. I usually part it down the middle without blow drying/flat ironing at all. Only towel dry and brush. Some days I part it to the side without blow drying/flat ironing, once again - only towel drying it. At this length it's become frustrating to do either of those.
So... My question is, should I blow dry it in the mornings? Should I blow dry it so it stays out of my face (I hate it in my face!), I mean... Eck. What should I do!? :<
I've read over some of the posts here and the members here seem to be very helpful, I figured this would be a good place to pose the question.

Welcome to the site, Matt. Being at about the same progress time as you, I can sympathize with bangs being in the face, mouth, etc. My advice is to try blowdrying your hair once and see how it turns out. However, when you do, use a heat-free setting if possible. This will minimize damage (split ends, dryness), while still providing the volume and feathering you're probably looking for.
The best way to find a solution is to experiment. Everyone's hair is different, so the best answer will be whatever you stumble across. Whatever you do, avoid straightening irons. Best of luck! =)

Why dont you just gell it in place or wear a hat until your hair is long enough to tie back
