So Im not really 'in the know' about the whole growing hair out thing. I usually let my hair grow out to the point where my hair when combed backlooks like a big poof of hair, and about before the point where I bring the mullet back in style. Not exactly sure if I should go to the barbershop and ask them to trim some off the back and sides and if so how much or what, so could somebody help me out? I either want my hair to end up looking something like this (http://images.starpulse.com/Photos/Previews/TripleH_001.jpg / http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/t/tripleh/87.jpg / http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/t/tripleh/92.jpg) or this (http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/p/paullondon/22.jpg / http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/c/chrisjericho2/22.jpg). Hopefully there is at least one wrestling fan on here as the two sets of pics are from wrestlers.
Here are pics of what my hair currently looks like. Would appreciate if anyone could give me some tips/an idea on how to get the whole thing started in terms of cuts or anything.

Just let it grow with no trims for atleast 2 years.

Shouldnt I get some short trims though so that the hair doesnt end up looking mullet like? Just seems like when I view pictures of guys with longer hair the back is cut a bit. Or is it just me and after 2 years or so the hair will actually look like what I want it to look like and not whatI tihnk itll look like?
Hair is naturally going to look longer at the back because it's lower down. After a few years of growth you end up just having a V shape in the back.
Recipe for long hair:
1 head of hair, whole (sans haircuts)
1 ton of patience
2 sources of support (1 MLHH, 1 "real world")
2 determined brain lobes
1 good shampoo and conditioner
Stir together, wash well (regularily) and keep cool (don't use lots of heat on it) for 1.5 to 2 years. Growing times may vary.
If I've forgotten anything, let me know!
Bon appetit,

Just let it grow man, be patient and stay off the scissors. You are probabky going to need a trim when the mullet starts geting big. :)
All is so easy you wouldn't believe.
Just let your hair grow by itself for several years and it will even itself out automatically.
So uncomplicated............but it always works!
His advice is correct. Just let it grow and stay away from scissors.
Hi EJO,
First of all, I would like to give you a warm welcome to the hyperboard. I am so happy you are found us, this is an awesome community! Although I do mot follow wrestling myself, I agree that HHH and Jericho both have great hair. The best advice I can give you is exactly what Justin has already, just stay away from scissors!
Keep it growing,
David
seriously that simple...just grow it out
