I used to have shoulder long hair but i cut it because it was thick, annoying, and all i could do was have it in a pony-tail. I want to grow it again but how can i get aroung this problem?
Hi Adrian,
There's no real quick fix here. Most people with thick hair who are growing it have to live with "it'll get worse before it gets better". From my experience I'd say just keep growing it until you can get it into a tail. You will probably have to keep your hair in a tail for a while to keep your hair from annoying you. As your hair gets longer it will weigh itself down and stay behind your back, once your hair gets to this stage it is much less annoying. Of course you'll probably have to grow your hair longer than shoulder blade length to achieve this - it depends on how long you want your hair. Thick hair in between long and short (neck/shoulder) length is always difficult and, unfortunatley, the only real way to tame it is by putting it in a tail. Whatever you do, I wouldnt recommend getting your hair thinned because if you want to grow long hair it's best to have all the hair you can get.
Which ever way you choose I wish you good luck.

Hey Neil ...
Thats great advice dude. My hair is very thick as well and its am just down to my shoulders at this point. Its not long enough to tail yet; but I can tell with each month that the weight is finally starting to help. Your advice seems right on..
