Its been 9 months already, hair really grows if you don't think about it. In this pics I'm only using leave-on conditioner. I think you can't tell but it's a little damaged on the front and on the right side, I was playing with a straightener and I think It got burnt a little.
Do you know any methods for fixing that? it's not that drastic, but you can see it if you pay attention.
It looks like your hair is coming along nicely. It looks like
you have the potential for some awesome hair!
BTW is that some demonia boots in the background?
Thanks lately I just dont think about it, and it grows without me noticing it.
Yes, they are. They actually are about as old as my hair. They're nice and comfortable, but I've only been using them for special occasions lately.
I can't see any noticeable damage, but your hair is looking spectacular, and will be even better as it gets longer. If you're worried about the damage, you could always have a small trim, but if it isn't progressing up the hair shaft, then don't concern yourself about it. Best of luck! =)

Your hair is looking good. The curls will relax a bit as your hair gets longer. As for damage, I don't see it. If it is near the ends, you could trim it off in small increments to keep as much length as possible. Sometimes damaged ends will break off on their own. For now, just let it grow.

Hi Nelo,
You have a very impressive head of curls there which look awesome. You have come a long ways for 9 months, and be sure to keep it growing! (Absalom has given you excellent advice about the damage which you are concerned about)
All the best,
David
I sure will keep it growing, no matter what.
Thanks for the support, It really helps
That is terrific looking hair for only 9 months growth. As for damage, I really don't see any so wouldn't give it a worry.
Best of luck to you in continued long hair growth.
Hello, Nelo.
I am always glad to see another curly-head making the journey. It is a longer, more twosted path to long hair, but it has a fullness of texture that makes it all worth it (that's what I keep telling myself, at least, waiting to arrive there myself.)
Which leave-in are you using?
Shawn (Mr.Crow)
I'm using the moisturizing one from Herbal Essences. But I'll think I'll go back to Garnier Fructis, Those are by far the best hair products I have tried. I just ran out of it and so did the place I was in, so I picked the herbal essences one instead.
Nelo,
Best wishes. I see the slight damage. Stay away from straighteners, for they stretch your hair. Follow the progress of Mr. Crow. Make the most of your curls.

Believe me, I learned my lesson, I'll stay away from them. I just don't feel comfortable cutting it right now, and was just checking if there was a product or something that I could use, but I guess I'll just wait a little more and deal with the damage in the future.
I hope you got rid of it. Embrace the curls, you are blessed to have them. Once you get past the awkward stage, you'll have fantastic long hair.
The S&D method, Search & Destroy. Much better than an overall trim, you are selectively cutting off the damaged hairs with a pair of sharp scissors. S&D is the preferred method for removing any split ends as well. You remove only the damage leaving the overall hair length. Since your hair strands vary in length anyway, S&D is not noticeable.

Nelo, You are blessed with hair that rocks right now, its going to look amazing long.
