Hi all,
Was just outside watching the Lunar eclipse from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, took some pics some are almost OK I think, considering I'm using a 3.2 mp camera on a shakey tripod and I've never done this before!
6.59pm AEST 28/08/07
Rest of the photos in progression up to 8.34pm (totality I think the astronomers call it? I'm no expert!) The city lights are still a bit close where I am so the moon was not as red as I had hoped but it was pretty spectacular none the less. My dodgy photos don't really do it justice.
Simply used auto levels in adobe on the next one, bought out a few stars...
And here's some poser and his hair.
Happy August!
Hey Matt, Nice hair for a lunatic. lol
peace, jonalbear
Hey Matt
Excellent pictures of the Lunar Eclipse!!.. too bad I'm in Adelaide oh well :( there is another lunar eclipse in 4 years time. Solar eclipse in a decades time I think.
and great way to finish off this topic with the hair. Looking very cool!
Peace
Ryan
Your hair is looking great and your photos are wonderful.
I was working in a completely remote area in the SW U.S. away from lights. Just as the eclipse began, clouds moved in an blocked the event. I was horribly disappointed.
Thanks for sharing.

Hair's looking great, Matt! Thanks for the pictures.
Wow those are terrific eclipse pics Matt. Incredible! I have never tried anything like that myself. They came out quite beautifully.
Also tell poser that he sure has some awesome hair, very luxurious and damn its getting long!!
