My apologies for STILL not reading the instruction manual on my new camera, --- which is delaying me in EVER sharing new pics here! But, in any case, I found my wooden hair sticks that I bought several years ago.... I bought them when I was visiting my nieces up in Roseburg, OR, --- got them at a local Art Faire / Street Fair.
The wooden sticks are really cool-looking! I have a total of 4, all of which are very different-looking from each other. My favoritte stick, which I just wore in my hair for the 1st time in several years, has an odd curve to it, --- my guess is that this is intentional. The wood looks very "Earthy" & is dark-colored, and I use the same oil on the wood as I do my hair, so It slides in & out easily.
Pics EVENTUALLY will be shared SOON (yeah, right - lol)!!

Much appreciation for the gesture, Cowboy Ken. You'll figure out the camera sooner or later--these days cameras are pretty idiot-proof so it is probably too simple for a brilliant mind such as yours.
Perhaps I should see if there are any local art fairs or anything like that...bummer that I just found out that I missed Ren Faire. But there should be something somwhere sometime, right?
Looking forward to seeing the sticks...
