Ok I'm back from London and I loved it. Such great architecture old buildings... I think that the Parlament is more beautiful than Buckingham Palace. Anyway I loved The Natural History Museum... By the way people, you should visit such a museum more often!!! there were only 4 longhairs. I mean if I lived in London I would spend weeks 'cuz 6 hours in the museum wasn't eneugh for me I mean fossils! Dinosaurs! Other kinds of excavations... Wow!!! OMG! It was so exiting! Anyway I bought Angel 2nd season DVD for 35 pounds, the next day it was only 15 pounds I thought I would pass out... anyway I loved it and I think it's the 2nd greatest city I've ever been to...
BTW apart Natural History Museum there were lots of longhairs and no people reacted weird at me... so..
WOW
glad you had an awsome time in the city I live in...a great place isn't it...very diverse and such
peace
Ive never been to london, i think i will go and see it as i live in england. i have heard it has many rough parts though, where chavs (haters of anyone who look different)roam the streets. Also there are areas where blacks are dominant and they are racist to whites. Anyway this is what ive been told
btw glad to hear you enjoyed your visit lol
I visit London fairly regularly and the main parts of the city are perfectly fine. Pretty much the same as any other city. One thing I would say is that London is a much better experience if you can take someone who knows the city fairly well. There's nothing worse than losing half your day to being lost yourself.
Otherwise like Vytautas says, it is a fabulous place to visit.

I'm from the London area, although I now live near Washington DC. It does have it's rough bits, but so does any big city. I could be talking about either London or Washington when I say that. You won't find the rough parts of a city where all the businesses are, or where the tourists go. London's a great place. Treat yourself to a visit.

This is a nice positive response, and very sensible.
Greetings from UK

I didn't know this and I live here!

I am so so pleased that you liked London. It is even better to know that you enjoyed the Natural History Museum. Did you have chance to visit the Science Museum next door, or the Victoria and Albert Museum opposite? They have some fantastic things in them too. You would also have been close to Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine - let me know if you visit again and I will show you around.
All the best.

I really wanted to but my neighbor (whom I was traveling with) had diabetic problems and we had to cancel other museums... Well there's always next time...
Hi Vytautas,
Glad to hear you had a good time in London I've visited the UK about 8 times now and only been to London twice. It is a great city and lots of fun but there's so much more elsewhere in the UK you would be surprised.
Good to have you back
Take care
