For those who don't remember me, I am a student at Granite City High School in Granite City, Illinois. Since last year I've been fighting my school to obtain equal rights for long haired male students. We are forbidden to participate in the schools athletic programs because they do not want the school represented like that.
I would really appreciate it if some of the members on this board would write/e-mail/fax the school on my behalf.

OK Lupi - I will write from England in support of your very worthwhile stance. We had a similar situation in a school near Bournemouth and the students stood their ground with good effect. I will outline some of the positive outcomes (e.g. greater co-operation and responsibility within the School - which was of benefit to the school as a whole), as a result of the UK experience, for the consideration of your Principal.
