Hey everyone,
Here are the pictures that I promised showing the progress after more than 2 years of growth with a 1 inch trim along the way.
Good to be back!!
-Mihnea
.
Mihnea, your hair is fine form, looking really great! You look really relaxed in these pictures, despite the boring moments you must have had a good vacation. And it's wonderful that you were able to meet Paul Masvidal, good deal.
Keep on growin'
Bruce
Hey Bruce!
Thank you!!! It was really relaxing, even at the boring times, to get away from all the stresses of school and drama that's going on every now and then around here. And meeting Paul and Sean Reinert (drummer) was really great too, I never thought I would meet them.
Keep it growing
-Mihnea
It suits you quite well Mihnea. I'm sure there are quite a few that will find inspiration with your progress shots. Way to grow!
Thanks for the kind words!
Keep it growing!
-Mihnea
Hey Mihnea,
That's a truly outstanding pic of you here... Besides the fact that your hair looks GREAT; the serene expression on your face, the beautiful green background, and the soft lighting and/or time of day (looks like late afternoon lighting to me) all come together absolutely perfectly!!!
Hope you are doing well, --- and keep growin' that wonderful head of hair of yours!!
- Ken in San Francisco
Hey Ken,
Thanks! That was taken in my aunt's back yard, close to the time that the sun set. Hope you're doing great as well!
Keep it growing and thanks for the kind words
-Mihnea
Hi Mihnea glad we get the chance to see more of your cool pics:))I really like the bonus pic you put up as it looks as you are really mellowed out in that one as you are preparing to listen to some rockin' tunes on your headset.I have to say after only two short years your hair is fantastic!I don't recall what length you started out with when you decided to grow out your hair but it is ACE!!!!Take care my friend and be safe.Mark
Hey Mark,
Thanks! Haha the bonus picture was actually my last day there. Thank you! I started out at about an inch and later got a trim after a year and a few months, chopped off an inch :(. Take it easy and keep it growing
-Mihnea
Hi Mihnea,
Welcome back, it is wonderful to have you back with us once again, you were always one of the coolest guys on the hyperboard. Your hair is absolutely superb, it is thick and healthy, and is growing very quickly as well. That is such a beautiful location you are taking this picture from, and ALL of your pictures are awesome!
Hopefully, I will still have the opportunity to meet you during the return portion of my 2009 road trip. I will probably be driving across southern Canada/northern USA during my return back to Nova Scotia from California.
Take care,
David
Hey David,
Thanks for the warm welcome back! Same goes to you, you're always very helpful and welcoming to everyone that stops by the hyperboard. Thanks again! That was actually my aunt's house's backyard in the background. Hope to see you in 2009!
-Mihnea
Hey Good to have you back Mihnea, great growth and congratulations on two years of growing. Rock on!!
Regards Dave
It's good to be back! Thanks!
Keep it growing
-Mihnea
Sweet pics, Mihnea! I guess I never realized how wavy your hair actually is in previous updates, but it really looks good. As was said many times before, great to have you back, and best wishes to you. Later! =)
-James
Thanks! haha it usually depends on the day, yesterday it looked almost straight due to a whole lot of conditioner. But it's usually like this. Thanks, same goes to you. Keep it growing!
-Mihnea

Hi,
This is a good set of update pictures surely. Your hair is looking great, and it's so good that you got to meet those bandmembers at their metal show.
The lighting in the top picture shows off the red tones in your hair well.
Question time! Do you still speak Romanian fluently since you don't live there any more? I don't know much about the language really, but it's interesting as it comes from Latin but was subject to the Slavic influences surrounding it in its development. And, what part of Romania were you in? I've seen pictures that it's a beautiful country for the most part, but what got me to wondering was that a Roman writer, Ovid, was exiled to what is now Romania and wrote a poem about the fish in the Black Sea. Strange really, but intriguing.
See you later, Bragi
Hello,
Thanks:) It was fun to meet them, they're great guys.
Haha yeah that happens a lot in the later afternoon/early evening, but it's usually just plain dark brown.
Haha yes I do still speak it fluently, my family speaks it at home so I have a good balance of English aroudn my friends and Roamanian with my family. I've lived there for 12 years of my life, in Transylvania, a little city known as Tarnaveni. I've been through most of the country, including the Black Sea, which has a lot of touristic attractions and famous beaches such as Mamaia, Saturn, and Costinesti.

Hey Mihnea: Great picture. Your hair looks great man. That is a beautiful country background. It's actually a bit breezy here in the SouthEast and feeling (a little) like Fall is around the corner. Nothing better than being outside with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. Later - Bruce'ster
Hey Bruce,
Thanks! That was my aunt's backyard :). Yeah it's starting to get chilly in Toronto as well, but it's all good!
Keep it growing
-Mihnea
Looking great! Thats some awesome growth for two years! I hope you enjoyed your vacation time.
Your brother in waviness,
Allen
Thanks man, keep it growing!!!:D
-Mihnea
Lookin' great man. Your hair has made awesome progress. The scenery looks cool too. i like that wind chime, I've never seen anything like it. is it made out of bones? Just curious :-)
Thanks dude:D The wind chime is made of bamboo haha. Not bones, the only metal thing there is my shirt hehe.
Keep it metal
-Mihnea
lol! cool man! I knew it wasn't made out of bones(I actually thought it was wood or something), I was messing around. I'm glad you picked up the joke. Take care bro \m/!
Hi Mihnea. Your hair is looking awesome. I think that you might have the best hair on this board. Hope that your band is doing well.
Del
Thanks for the kind words Del!!! Your hair is aweesome as well, but I'm far from having the best hair on this board:P. The band's doing great, we have a show on the 14th in Toronto.
-Mihnea
Mihnea...
Excellent pics dude. Your hair looks great! Awesome progress. I hope mine looks that good at the 2 year mark.
I have a question. Are your bangs shorter than the back of your hair? Its kinda hard to tell from the pics. I ask this because mine are shorter than the back which gives me kinda a mullet feel at times. - only slightly really. But; I can't decide whether to even it out or just let it grow on through..
Anyway; your hair looks great...
Be Blessed..
Tristan
Thanks man! and it sure will, just take good care of it from the start, which is somethign I didn't do until about.... a year after starting. And my bangs are actually longer than the back cause of that trim that I got:(. Don't worry the mullet feel will go away. Just let it grow and it'll be gone in a few months
Thanks:)
Take it easy
-Mihnea
Mihnea...
Thanks for the advice.. I'm going to let it grow through this stage and re-evaluate in about a year.. Thanks man.
Keep Rockin..
Tristan
Such nice scenery in the backround. Late afternoon sun? Your hair looks so thick and wavy, and the lighting is just right.
