First of all thanks for all the complimentary and warm comments.
Much appreciated.
& yes while i am insanely busy, I am positive it will all turn out good.
Canada will be difficult no doubt, especially as I will be going from the heart of the Australian summer (25-35degrees Celsius days) to the frozen temps of Calgary (-15 anyone?!), but I am fulfilling a dream as the cliche goes, so I'm not complaining.
ALTHOUGH, I am worried a bit about my hair getting damaged in the ring. I'll work it out though. Now...
...Bragi, you said: "We must however take some time soon here to brainstorm a wrestling name for you. I am sure that among us all, we can come up with something creative. I still like the "Nazarite Nightmare," but something simple would be good too like "King Jeroboam" or the like."
I say: LOL! I've always liked the Nazarite NIghtmare name, but King Jeroboam is so freekin eveil. Biblical evil :)
Seriously though, I'm not sure that I want to involve my religion as part of my character, not only because it might cause actual problems with certain crowds, but because i might feel personally uncomfortable, not to mention that religious characters generally don't have longevity.
But you never know and Bragi I may enlist your help in the future (or: 'It's devastatin time', as Dean Devastation might say :-)
Carol: Do I use any beneficial oils or leave-in treatments at all? Yes, I use Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave-in treatment. It's quite good and one bottle lasts me a loooong time.
Quenyan: Thanks for the great story, very interesting.
As for the glasses, mine are Machon Airlock2 frames (all one piece and the actual prescription glass is rimless). i don't think they're Australian made, so ask your optometrist. they're quite durable too, but not as much as the 'hype' would suggest.
Absalom: I'm 5'11 (6'0 minimum with shoes on :)
One question though if my hair isn't at waist length by 5 years, do you think it ever will be?
Could I be one of those cases, where it seems like i've hit terminal, but then years later I get a 'growth spurt'?.
I am concerned though because while my hair is getting longer still at the moment, it is thinning out towards the ends as not all the little troopers are making it. Hopefully the rest of my hair will play catch up soon. Right? :)
Although I am thinking that waist length might not be my ideal length anymore, perhaps 'elbow length' would suit me better (see my last post for a description)
Ok that's it! Thanks again everyone and my respect and regards to all of you.
Dean
Hi Dean, some of us have shorter terminal lengths and some have longer ones. You are into bodybuilding and wrestling and may have a high testosterone count. This hormone definitely limits how long your hair can grow. I had a test done and mine was only 361. The reference range is 299 to 999 so I am in the lowest 10th percentile on that test. Yours could be 600 or more.
Your hair could be slow growing which means over 5 years to reach waist length. Your hair due to curliness could be a bit fragile and more prone to breakage. You may shed an excess amount too.
Low back length is probably about the longest you would want it to be if you are going to wrestle professionally.
