Many thanks to all who made such kind comments about my pics that Bill posted for me! I've been a lot busier than usual, so I didn't have time to respond individually, or even visit the board much, --- hope you'll forgive me!
Just for fun, thought I'd share the last pic I took on Sunday's longhair meet-up in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Even and I took off for the beach once we got back to my truck, taking some goofy shots of ourselves, then ending up at San Francisco's Ocean Beach, near the famed Cliff House and Seal Rocks (yes, there are really seals that hang out and bark there)...
As any San Fraciscan will attest, our weather can be full of weird surprises, --- the most famous of which is our bone-chilling FOG! The day of the Summer of Love concert in the Park couldn't have been more perfect (the concert location was less than a mile away from the ocean). And that included this glorious fog-free sunset!! The next morning, however, I woke up to looking to the West (I live considerably inland, at least 5 miles from where the concert was), the coastal mountains of Twin Peaks and Mt. Davidson completely smothered with a thick fog blanket. My mom, who lives on the other side of those hills, reported that the sun never showed all day long on Labor Day, and the temperature never got much above 60 degrees F. Had the concert happened one day later, we would have been all wrapped up in blankets and sweaters!!!
Sunsets exist in San Francisco; but rarely are they like this cloudless one (or, I should say, "fogless")... Enjoy!!

Wonderful picture Ken, and the posting below also contained some amazing shots of hippies, hair and love, great stuff.
Cheers Dave
That is a beautiful shot, Ken. I can almost feel the serenity!
Thanks for sharing it with us, Ken. Take care amigo
Beautiful picture Ken, you are quite the photographer along with your other talents! You took some great shots at the longhair meet too, you have a great sense of a good picture.
Hey Ken..
What a beautiful shot ... I know what you mean about weather changing fast... our mountains are the same way. You never really know what you're in for until it happens..
Again ... great shot. You have a great eye and talent for the photography it appears..
Be Blessed...
Tristan
