hey guys. been reading through the site and this seems like a good place to keep me motivated and i like what you are all doing here.
cant remember when i started to grow out my hair. i think it was late January of this year but I'm currently at a point where its drawing loads of attention.
I'm getting insulted constantly about it which doesn't bother me as people are just stupid and narrow minded.
the problem I'm having at the moment is that the back of my hair seems to be extremely frizzy and curling. to me it looks damaged i was just wondering if anyone could offer me some feedback.
i don't want to straighten it because of the damage it can cause.
any advice / comments would be greatly appreciated.
thanks. karl
Hi Karl,
Looks to me like you've got a healthy head of nice, thick, wavy hair, with a solid 9 months of growth already under your belt. If you want long hair, just stay away from scissors until it reaches a length you're happy with. At that point, if you're interested in trimming or going for a specific 'style,' find a reputable salon that specializes in long hair. As far as any negative feedback you're getting from people, do your best to ignore them. Remember that "sheeple" are often uncomfortable in the presence of unique individuals who refuse to betray themselves for the sake of conformity. Be true to yourself, and not a "carbon copy" of the mindless masses.

P.S.--Here's what my hair looked like from behind at 15 months of growth, starting from a half-inch. Your hair's thickness and waviness are similar to my own.
