To give a bit of background, I set out to grow my hair out (past shoulder length was my goal) back in December. I had a buzz cut at the time, so it took a while to get some base length. Once I got 6 months in I started to really notice that my hairline bothered me, and started to wonder if this is the first steps in baldness. I have no thinning at the crown, or anything like that. My father has extreme MPB, but everyone on my mother's side has a full head of hair. For some reason this conserned me so much I started to obsess on what I would look like bald, and should I worry about it. I ended up wet shaving my head, and am current sporting the bald look (have been for a little over a month). I like it, but I still think of growing it out. I just don't want to be one of those guys who look like a balding guy trying to grow long hair. I am currently 30, and attached below are the pics that convinced me to shave my head. Is this a natural mature hairline, or is this a sign that balding is setting in. Thanks for any advice, comments (negative comments welcome as well ... I'm not easily offended).
Looks normal to me.
Most men have a bit of hair loss on the sides of the hairline when they become men that gives that Male not female hairline or young Boy hairline. Very very few men keep all the hair in the hairline like when they were a boy.
I hear propeca(I can't spell) and rogain are a strong combo used together to stop hair loss.
So if you keep loosing look into it, but right now you don't look like you have that "bald guy with long hair and a ponytail LOOK". "Not that there is anything wrong with that"..LOL
Thanks man!
Any other opinions?
