I took the pic on the left the day after my wedding 3 september. I slicked all my hair back and pulled down a section about 2cm away from my peak. I measured 3 times to be sure. I came to almost exactly 6cm. I did the same thing today after a shower and noticed a bit of difference, so out of curiosity, I measured again. This time it came to slightly(and I do mean slightly)under 7 cm. I was VERY careful to use the same strands, the same amout of tension,and the same camera position. I can't believe it! Does anyone have any experiences like this? If so, do you think this is likley to continue(I surely hope so), or is it just a fluke? As a short hair, I was always told my hair grew fast, and I needed a cut every 2 weeks to keep from getting talked to at work (US Air Force) but I never actualy stopped to record it.
And Why not, you are on your way to freedom and self fulfillment.
I just hope it remains growing at this speed. That would be fantastic.
Apologies ahead-of-time for how strange my reply may sound; but I had shared with the group here several months ago, a conversation I had with a mega-longhair in a Trader Joe's store here in San Francisco, CA. The guy had hair a few inches past his butt. It was very full, thick and well cared for, even fairly thick right down to the ends, --- an unusual sight to see, even in a longhair-friendly city like San Francisco! So, even though he was a total stranger to me, I decided to approach him to give him a compliment. Here's how the conversation went (as best I remember)...
Me: "WOW! How many years did it take you to grow your hair that long, --- it looks GREAT!!"
Him: "I've lost track now, because I keep cutting it every 3 or so years to donate it to charity."
Me: "Well, your hair must grow amazingly fast then! What's your secret?"
Him: "My girlfriend and I have lots of sex!!"
Me: (I laugh, blushing!)
Him: "No, really, --- I'm serious!" (I notice his girlfriend busily shopping and adding food into the cart, apparently not paying attention to our conversation.) History has recorded that men out at sea over long periods of time, once they know they are soon going to land ashore on-leave, will suddenly have great spurts of hair growth, due to the anticipation of getting laid!"
Me: (Images of the movie, 'Mutiny on the Bounty', with scenes of gorgeous scantily-clad Tahitian women paddling out to greet cheering sailors tossing their clothes off and jumping overboard come immediately to mind...) "WOW!! You're pulling my leg, though, - right?!!"
....The rest of the conversation went on with him reciting historical examples of what he was talking about; but, my whole reason in narrating this conversation in my reply to you is..... You are on your honeymoon, right????
Well, umm.... My guess is that you and your lovely wife must be a VERY happy couple! 'Nough said!!!!!!!

YOU ARE HILLARIOUS, KEN! It was most certainly the funniest thing related to hair growth I've heard so far. I suppose it does ring rather true however, as my wife and I were married back in April, and since that time, have been very "active". Not to mention, as you stated, we just had our offical wedding ceremony on 2 Sept, and since that time, have been even more "active". That's definitley one growth tip I plan to utilize to it's full potential. I certainly hope it keeps up at this amount... the hair too.
