well, yeah, im back on the board.
I really haven't had much time on my hands to actually post but I never really stopped checking the board.
I'm back with my 1 month (a few days early) update photos since my haircut.
Besides having noticed that I felt much better having long hair than I do now, I also liked the fact that with my ponytail and hoop earrings, I looked like a real bad@SS lol
So I, once again am starting my journey towards long hair except now, at least I'm not starting with a crewcut. This time around I'll be sure to keep a good record of each month's progress with pics. I still have the same ponytail band that I used to tie my last ponytail and I vowed to keep that SAME one until the next time my hair is long enough to tie another ponytail in a year and a few months from now. I also have a lock of my hair that I asked the stylist to put in a ziplock bag the day i got it cut. I'll also be keeping that as inspiration.
Best wishes to all,
-Gio

Geo,
Defintely, with long hair, better looking you are, and that ain't bad.
I don't know what bad@ss means. I(s "@" simply a substitute for "a?" I empathize, for I was always depressed after a conformity haircut. I learned to deal with depression before I grew my hair to shoulder length, but I am leary of the use of "bad" to mean good. Perhaps I am wrong, since I do not know what you mean, but I tend to think that "baad," is a sign of compensation for insecure masculinity.
I have bi-laateral white gold hoops which never come out, and I never intend to cut my hair unless it all falls out, and I think it is "goooood."

Do grow it back. After seeing your avatar pic, the long hair suits you so much better.
Carol
Well your not the first to cut it off and regret it and you won't be the last. I hope this time around you don't cut it again. Good luck on your journey.

Hey Gio,
Nice to see you again! Like you I'm a bit of a lurker. But I figured I'd come out of lurking to encourage you on your long hair journey once again. I can't blame you for cutting, really. The heat and humidity has been tremendous here in La Parguera and in Mayaguez where I work, and I know it's the same in the San Juan area as well. I've noticed fewer long-hairs lately around where I live, but at least not as many buzz cuts either. I look forward to seeing your updates.
David
I think this round of growing your hair will make it all the sweeter as you know what you've lost and what it takes to regain it. Good luck on your return to longhairedness and glad to see you're back!
Can't wait to see the results in years one and two.
Good luck on your hair journey and with in a year and a few months it will be looking great and similar to your avatar picture and a good inspiration to help you growing it out again.

Glad you're growing it back, your avatar looks sweet!

Surely long hair is the way to go for you and it shouldn't take too long considering you already have some length:)
I'm also regrowing my hair due to a cut i made in march, i wanted to try something new and my hair was kinda damaged, but after a weeks i wanted my long hair back and i'm now in my 6th month of regrowing.
