The other day I caught myself wondering if a the president of the United States could have long hair. With all the sterotypes about longhairs he probably wouldn't get enough votes. And then last night when I was watching TV they started talking about Al Gore's beard that he has been growing. They were kind of making fun of him then one asked him if had ever seen pictures of him a long time ago. He said he used to have long hair!!!! So maybe it is not impossible to have a longhaired president. I wish we did.
We used to. George Washington had long hair. He grew hemp. He owned slaves. Must have been a great life back then.
And, he and his men nearly froze to death on the Delaware. I wouldn't consider that such a great life. By the way, I object to your insinuation that owning slaves is an admirable trait!
That's what is so great about this country. You have that right to object to anybodys insinuations. But that dosen't change history.
It obviously can't *change* history, but it surely can *prevent* a repeat of the "darker days" of history.
He owned slaves. Must have been a great life back then.
'cept for the slaves, of course! :-)
It would indeed be nice. It would even be nicer if he didn't wear a necktie. JFK got men out of obligitory hats, now if a pres would help men lose the necktie...

I think a President with long hair would intimidate a lot of those Islamic Jihad types.
