Here's a couple of pictures of me at a gig.
When I'm playing, my hair keeps getting into my mouth, which can be distracting! Luckily, my hair was curling up the night of these pics so that wasn't much of a problem. Even so, I've been liking having longer hair when I play. Headbanging will be lots of fun in about a year!
Something's gotta give pretty soon! My hair won't stand being parted on the side much longer. I've experimented with center parting, but my hair is thin on top and too much scalp is showing. Maybe I'll just have to wait till I can pull all my hair back.
The hairs looking great man. One question though? Where the hell is the crowd and why is it soooo bright!? Nevermind that, I have the perfect remedy.
Thanks! That's exactly what is looked like from the balcony! :)
It was just a small gig at a bar at a marina.
Dude...keep the hair parted on the side!!! You got the "Jimmy Page" thing going!
Take care and keep it growin'!
Brett
Awesome!
A lot of people have told me I look like Jimmy Page since I started growin' out.
And very nice photos they are.
All part of being a longhair.
Your hair still is not long enough to part in the center by itself. You can start training it that way now or just give it some more time and and the center part automatically will appear by itself.
Best of luck to you.
Long hair suits you well BbbyBld! My hair is still parted to the side somewhat @ 23mo. Center parts don't like me either, but the side part has slowly crept up to what might be referred to as off center. You have to do what works for you.
Keep on growin'
Bruce
This is how I wore my hair until this year.
I guess it was ok, but not nearly as rockin' as the longer hair now!
nt
Long hair certainly suits you far better.
Bandanna or alice band would work until until is long enough for a tail.
Hi BbbyBld,
Your hair looks fabulous in this picture, it has lots of shine, great natural waves, and it looks thick in this photo. I do not see the thinning that you mention. That is one cool guitar as well.
About the part, I have some recession at the temples, and always used to wear a side part for fear that a centre part would not look good. However, I switched to a centre part last March, and actually find that it hides the recession better than a side part. You may wish to consider that when your hair gets longer.
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks.
The thinning may just be by imagination--I'm just paranoid about going bald. My hair looks like it's thick, but actually, it's pretty thin and the individual strands are VERY thick, so I guess that's called "coarse." Put it this way, my scalp is very easy to find on top! I never noticed until my hair started getting longer.
I've read that it's normal for people in their twenties to experience thinning, so hopefully it's just that.
Bbby Bld,
Side parts can look very nice with long hair. I used to wear mine like that. Will find it's own comfort spot and will look good after it grows out and you keep the same part all the time. You can use a barrette or tie the top of your hair into a half tail to keep it out of your mouth or eyes. BTW
Nice cranberry finish on your bass.
