Hey, i was thinking about starting to use oils on the ends of my hair becuase they are becoming quite dried out even with alot of conditioner,
My question is, Do you leave the oil in,.. or do you wash it out like conditioner after a few mins?
i got jojoba oil.
cheers.
i think that conditioner takes out the oil..
my hair is oily.. and i have to shampoo and condition if i dont want to get it oily.. so i think no shampoo and conditionner will be better
Shampoo strips oils away from your hair, and Conditioner puts it right back in. Think of it like an oil change for your car. ;)
From another board I post at, there are a lot of oilers who do it for the same reason you do, dried ends. The general comsensus is that oil should be applied sparingly to damp ends, and then left IN. What happens, is that the oil seals in the moisture. If you rinse it out, you defeat the purpose. The jojoba oil is pretty popular.
