So....I went to a freerange farm today!! Lotsa fun stuff ^.^ like dozens of different breeds of chickens, a cow that thinks she's a dog (completely adorable) and best and cutest of all....PYGMY GOATS!!!! I swear this post is on topic, just bear with me.
Imagine this...I'm leaning down nuzzling up to a pygmy goat when I feel a tugging...I turn around, and to my surprise, I see Juan...the smallest and cutest of the goats, happily munching away on my hair. XD I didn't even think about the fact that it could possibly really hurt my hair. It was just so hilarious, the look on the little guy's face just screamed "I'm behind u...munchin ur hairz." He got a playful head knock in return, followed by a great big hug.
Overall it didn't hurt my hair at all. I don't think he broke a single strand. But just a warning if you're around farm animals - especially goats - don't turn your back on them.
Oh that is just so funny, and cute! Goats will eat just about anything, so I'm sure your long hair was practically irresistable. Luckily he didn't succeed in chewing it off. Sounds like you had a good time.

Hey Tristram as your hair gets longer you have to become increasingly aware of hazards to avoid. It is impossible to tell in your photo but I am guessing it is low back or even waist length.
When around goats it may be good to keep your hair inside your shirt or tied up in a bun. It is fortunate you had no hair damage form those little beasties.
To protect my hair (which currently reaches the tops of my knees) I use multiple hair ties at about 4 inch intervals. When riding my bike, I have to fold it and secure it with a mini hair clip to keep from sitting on it.

That's hilarious thanks for sharing.

Oh, how funny! I love goats (sorry, Capricorn here ;). Anyways, glad to hear it didn't damage your hair at all. Hope your growth is still coming along nicely, Tristram. Take care, and watch out for those little munchers! =D

Oh, and something I forgot to mention XD Juan's brother's name is Amahl...if you've seen Juan, you've seen Amahl.
Tristam, Cool story! Thanks for sharing.

Lmao, thanks for the laugh :)
Now i'm imagining goats in a completely new light.
