Hi again, I am a regular reader on the forum but I've only posted occasionally, anyway I just wanted to show my progress from a buzzcut which I decided to have about 8 months ago now.
I much prefer long hair and have got alot more compliments since growing my hair out, which can only be a good thing!
I'm not sure how to post a picture directing onto this page so I hope this works!

I know it may look alittle unkept compared to some of the amazing long hairs on this website with prestine amazing looking hair but I quite like the messy look!
PS. I know it doesnt seem very long but its because of the curls its actually quite alot longer when its straight :-)
Luc
Sorry, but I dont know how to make the picture embedded :-(
You need to put an HTML tag on it.
You've got some really healthy curls man. They looks great for only 6 months! Hair like yours will look awesome when long. Hang in there and keep it growing because it will only get better.
Put the URL in the link box, but it doesn't seem to want to work. Well, people can copy and paste it.

Actually, there are quite a few wild curly heads on the board. The curls get a little less wild with increased length. Those are lovely golden curls you have, you are to be envied.
Carol
Luc ...
Welcome to the board. This is a great place to be. Your hair is looking fine. Keep it growin and flowin man.
Tristan
awesome curls
Here's the problem that is stumping some of you....
The URL Luc has is not for a picture. It is for a web page. It ends in "php". Anything after a question mark is just information that is being sent to the server to be used by it in making decisions about how to make the web page. Look at the URL:
http://img526.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lukenb9.jpg
If you visit it, you will notice you don't just have a picture along the left side of your web browser. Instead, you have a picture that is centered and has text underneath it.
If you right click the image that comes up, you can see that the image's URL is actually:
http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6378/lukenb9.jpg
That is what you'd have to link to have the picture show up in your post.
What has probably confused some of you is Luc's site's programmer has the data being sent back to the server ending in ".jpg". This confuses people who don't deeply understand how to break apart URLs. Phishers take advantage of similar lacking in knowledge to fool recipients of their mail into thinking they are visiting one site when in fact they are visiting another.
What that programmer did was not a good practice, because users often link their photos and it will cause lots of them to put in invalid links. This is not a way to endear yourself to your users. He has, in effect, created a URL for a web page that looks to a lot of people like it's for a photo.
Bill
ok, I remember for next time, thanks :-)
dude, You look just like Eric Byrnes of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks
Looks great, and messy is good, believe me!
Your hair looks great long. Keep it growing. Do you have any pics with your short hair so we could compare. Keep up the good growth.
Wow, I really like the hair Luc. Terrific color and shine. The wild look is awesome, man! Welcome to the board, you will be a great addition here with that mane :)
