I'm in the beautiful city of Montréal, Quebec. I've been here for two weeks rehearsing a show which opens at the Salle Wilfrid Pelletier de Place des Arts next weekend. This city is a really great long hair inspiration. This evening after rehearsal I walked from the Place des Arts to have dinner on Rue St. Denis in the Quatier Latin, and found the short hairs in the minority! Now I look forward to my next stop, San Francisco, hoping to find a similar ambiance. Thanks to everyone who continues posting here. The inspiration is what keeps us going.
Hi Stan
I know what you mean. I used to be a member of a web based group of longhairs and we had a gathering in Montreal over easter weekend in 2000 it was a blast. I might add the people in Montreal are very friendly I would love to go back some day.
Kevin
Kevin,
If it was great in 2000 you can't imagine how terrific it is now. And, yes, everyone is extremely friendly. No one laughs at my French!
Incroyable!
Hi Stan,
That is absolutely wonderful news to hear, and hopefully, a similar phenomenon will soon happen in Nova Scotia. Things tend to happen a little slower here. However, there ARE more longhairs out and about recently in Halifax, but they are not in the majority just yet.
You must be approaching your one year of growth by now. Hopefully, you will be providing us with an update soon.
Take care,
David
David,
I truly love your country. The people I've met in British Columbia and here in Quebec have been very friendly. Yes, I do have a one year haircut anniversary coming up in November. I'm saving my photo update till then. Thanks, as always, for the encouragement.
